THE WORRY WARTS

Coming together when breaking apart

I created a solution to help children and parents get through the emotional upset of a divorce and help them understand what is going on and how it isn't their fault or the end of the world. I want to help build better communication between parents and children who are going through a divorce and ease this transitionary period.

The Worry Warts

THE BIG IDEA

Get families talking

The Worry Warts is a family conversation game tackling the tricky topic of divorce. Communication is key in divorce and The Worry Warts helps better communication between families. The Worry Warts also helps with other issues that can happen in life, from bereavement to divorce, sex talk to starting school. Worry Warts are there to help children deal with their anxieties and overcome them.

Advertising campign

To accompany the game, there will be an advertising campaign to raise awareness of how divorce affects children. Aimed at the parents to make them think 'what is my child thinking?'. A series of posters both an adults and child's thoughts. The adults are crossed out to show that they may not always be right and they should communicate with their children.
